You need to add a line for all these offers. Never offers for current customers without new line.

I'm not one to shit on carriers for their "add a line" promotions... I don't expect them to give $1000 phones away for free...

But this offer is no different than any of their other weekly offers. There is nothing special about this being "Magenta Friday". Its just the same ol' same ol'.

Will SimpleChoice customers be able to add a line? Or excluded again like the most recent promo?

I do need two new lines and two phones for my kids, is this something I should look into? No trade in though, they have both managed to somehow drop in the toilet. : /

Right now TMobile offers a free budget android phone if you add a line (one for each added line). Example phones are Samsung a10e or Motorola G7. Of course free is in bill credits so its only totally free if you keep TMobile for 24 months after you get the phones. If you leave early then you owe what has not been credited yet.

Thank you. They want an Apple, currently they have half functioning iPhone 6 ( clearance prepaid devices still probably locked) and I have them setup for Google voice but no activated service. For Christmas I was going to do the Essentials or the plan up for them and iPhone 7 or 8 depending on cost. My phone is provided for by my work so I have never shopped for plans etc. Thanks!

This deal requires trade in. Not so great for new customers without newer iphones to trade in.
"iPhone on us: Up to $700 via bill credits based on trade in eligibility (iPhone 7, 7+, 8, 8+, X, XR, XS, or XS Max trade-ins receive max value)"

One can always start a new line on a new account, then port their old line out to Google Voice. That will cancel the old line. The GV number should point to the newly activated line. Then, after 3 months, port the GV number back into T-mo

T-mobile is in a limbo with the merger & Legere leaving. I hope they come out with some really nice deals on black Friday. Waiting on the 7t pro unless it comes out for $700+ then will have to settle for 7t.

Is this monthly credits or virtual gift card? I have called customer service and stopped a tmobile store and messaged cs thru the app and they all tell me its monthly credits, even tho the website specifically says vgc and up too 400 trade in, cs tells me credits and no trade in. Very deceitful and bait and fish if I do say so myself.

Yes it seems with higher rebate the model went up from 6s in the $580 rebate to 7 for "on us". Considering at Costco 11 was $629 the $50 difference between previous rebate makes it worse deal for people who still rocking older models like 6s.
Assuming Costco will have any stock and does same offer it's still decent deal if approached and executed correctly😏

Not sure which website says about GC but the article CLEARLY states "after 24 months","bill credits", "installments", and I think most of the times T-mobile wants to "hold" you on their network for 2 years at least so they get their money back and with profits. Could be worse though, you can be stuck with AT&T 30 months terms.
