Check dates, alot of their beers sit around for ages and 95% of it is at room temperature.

Unless it's in direct sunlight, Frozen or boiling, room temp does not effect beer FYI

Yes, it absolutely does. Elements of hops break down readily at room temperature. Beer, especially hoppy beers, should be stored cold. Not to mention light exposure issues which are going to be greater on the floor than in the fridge or warehouse.

Take two fresh IPAs, put one in your fridge and put one on your living room counter at say 80f, drink them both blind in a month, if they taste the same I owe you a beer.

Note how some companies demand cold storage for their beers, and even encourage customers to call up the brewer and taddle on retailers who fail to keep the beer in the fridge, as do Henhouse and Russian River. For like 10+ years Russian River bottles have been like "call us if this shit is outside a fridge, we'll fix their wagon."

Most beers are fine with a little aging, some even benefit from it.

New England style IPAs and other similar beers are better fresh, but for most others, it doesn't really matter until you get into multiple years of aging.

I sometimes buy more than I can drink with seasonals and can certainly say that they taste different after a year in my house in a dark climate controlled spot. These are usually imperial stouts of some kind...which is why I don't drink them in quantity and some a year later.

Anyway, thanks for the heads up OP. Need to buy something other people will drink and that isn't 10% ABV for Thanksgiving.
