So this has no USB port... Once those cables break or stop working the whole thing is done for. Correct me if I am wrong, but it appears that way.

This does not support QC (Qualcomm Quickcharge) or USB-PD (USB Power Delivery). You can only charge at a maximum of 12W with this. This should cause most people to give it a hard pass.

Look for QC 3.0 or USB PD in a power bank. Most Android devices support QC and most QC power banks will output at least 18W. The spec has a maximum of 36W of power.

USB PD is an open standard. All Apple and almost all newer Android devices support USB-PD. USB-PD power banks will output at least 18W. The spec has a maximum of 100W of power.

Some of the new higher end power banks can charge at 60W. A 20,000mah power bank charging at 60W will only take about an hour. This bank (micro USB 5V, 2.4A) will take about 6 hours to fully charge.

Only 5V output according to specs. It's going to be slow charging on current phones, so pass for me. (No QC or PD).

Good deal, but these look like older models with probably less than capacity charge life left.

No standard usb output is a deal-breaker. There are better options available. Pass.

No regular USB output? What kind of battery is this? Terrible design mistake.

Had this for 6 months, the lightning and the usb c style. I know everyone is worried about the cords but mine are still working. I think it's a good deal and I'm in for another one. I've purchased 6 already for myself and friends, zero complaints so far.

I don't see anything that says quick charge or power delivery. Anyone know if it's QC or PD capable?

I mean couldn't you say the same thing about battery packs that just have the ports? Once the connection on the ports is shot isn't it useless?

Probably why the price is down from supposedly $100. Price seems inflated since you can find reputable battery pack deals on Amazon 20 to 30. Hard pass.
