That's not the worst part....

The NEON lights require you to put it in a wall outlet.... Yoy have to realize, this is for all cases... Neon lights take gobbs of energy to start up, so it's understandable.

HOWEVER, why didn't they make the clock wire powered too? LOL... You have to not only plug the clock into a wall, but you have to get a AA battery to power the CLOCK lol....

Poor design IMO.

I've had mine for several years. It's great but runs out of battery for the clock mechanism constantly. Really dumb design considering it's plugged into the wall for the light.

Whats the power draw on this clock? Since it doesn't look to use LEDs I wonder how much it costs to run it 24/7
