Ryobi 40v blower, charger and battery $70 plus at with free shiping

Just ordered this Certified Pre-Owned Ryobi 40v Leaf Blower with battery and charger [directtoolsoutlet.com] for $70 plus tax. Shipping was free. It doesn't list what size battery is included, but based on the part number, ZRRY40430, I'm thinking/hoping its a 3ah. Home depot has the same part number and its $109 and includes a 3ah.

This is the model HD cleared out in the Spring for $30ish YMMV. I got hold of a couple keeping one. Very happy with the performance, damp leaves, small tree branches, stray pea gravel no issues. Turbo mode eats the battery but it kicks booty.

I picked one up a few weeks ago from their local store. Battery doesn't last long, but it does work good for driveway.

I hate this blower it's way too high pitched. I love electric blowers, this one falls short. I have the 80v kobalt last years version and a corded toro f700 and a coupe other good gas varieties. The 80v is the shit, but batt life is a bit short. So I'm using gas for now

If you have a residential (city) lot these are just fine. Larger yard you might need a 2nd battery or a gas unit.

i got this a few months ago, ended up returning it as it wasn't balanced and took a lot of force to pull the trigger. I prefer a straight on/off switch as opposed to the variable trigger.

This seller is very slow at shipping (maybe due to demand). Order 11 days ago and my item hasn't shipped yet.

Yep, it's a factory outlet store so don't expect the same kind of service/shipping speed as more full priced retailers. They have great deals, you just might have to wait a while to receive them - or go to one of their brick&mortar stores and pick it up yourself.

I wonder - is the battery new or pre-owned?

i have a small craftsman blower, can't think of what size, but it barely moves leaves so I alwasys use my plug in one, but hate the cord.

Just ordered the Ryobi One drill deal, will this thing blow the way I want it to?

I emailed them a day or two before I ordered asking about the battery. This is the reply I got earlier today...

"We cannot tell you what Ah battery will be included in your kit. With certified pre-owned kits, the manufacture will include whatever battery they have available. So the battery and chargers can vary."

So it's a roll of the dice. Fingers crossed for a 5 Ah 😁
