It's been the same price on Amazon for a while. There was a post about it which got only a mild reaction

I'm on my 4th of these mice. This should tell you 2 things:

1) I like them quite a bit
2) They aren't that durable

I have had 2 fail with the middle-click and 1 fail with the right-click starting to stick. If you get this, I'd recommend getting the warranty.

For those that find it heavy, did you try to run it on 1 battery instead of 2?

It's a decent mouse for the price. I just wish the side buttons were better thought out, it's difficult to reach some, but it's comfortable in the hand, and the battery lasts forever.

Same price at Amazon for anybody interested:

Had mine for a few years and the middle mouse click finally stopped working for me a couple weeks ago. Ended up replacing it with a Razer Basilisk. Besides not being wireless I'm happy so far. Keeping this as a backup/spare mouse though. It was great while it lasted.

Own four of these currently and LOVE them. Been my favorite mouse for years. I even keep a brand new one around as a spare just in case. Never had a problem with any of them and won't use anything less. For this price it's the best bang for the buck IMO.

The m705 is not a gaming mouse, it's in a totally different class of products here. I've purchased both and I gave the m705 to my mother for her facebook and yahoo browsing.

I do agree with others, the G602 is a bit heavy, but you can run it off a single AA battery rather than filling both battery slots if you feel you need to cut back on weight.. I find this most convenient anyways since I prefer keeping my rechargeable batteries in frequent rotation.

For MMO's and graphic design this is a great mouse at this price point. It has 11 programmable buttons, and the Logitech Gaming software allows for setting different profiles that load automatically when specific games/applications are in use. And while I think buttons 10 and 11 are in less than ideal spots for gaming, the 6 side buttons are phenomenal. My only complaints are the scroll wheel is a bit stiff -though it relaxes with use- and if you have small hands this mouse might be too hefty to be comfortable over long periods of time.

As for the price, this is not a new deal as this price has been steady for two weeks, and this mouse has been in the ~$30-40 range for years now, so don't let the $80 list price fool you. Not to say this isn't still a nice price, I bought my first G602 for $50 about 5 years ago and thought it was a great mouse at that price point. I believe Logitech is stopping production on this mouse after several years, in favor of their LightSpeed wireless series. I don't expect this price will drop much more. I bought 2 more of these at $25 a few months back because I think this mouse is a serious workhorse for that price.

Cheers

I've had this for a few months. Not sure why, but this mouse studders quite a bit. When i mouse over videos, it seems to catch and studder. I've removed the drivers, and reinstalled, thing still is studder city.

Should have contacted Logitech. I've had them warranty out stuff with no issues.
