Best Buy [bestbuy.com] has Samsung Galaxy 10+ on Verizon for 22.81 for 24mos for a total of $549.84 plus tax and $40 activation.

There are other deals out there that might be better for some but I am already a Verizon customer and don't mind a locked phone, and don't have a Costco near me. I also don't have a phone worth trading in.

Apologies if I didn't do well, I seldom see deals someone hasn't beat me to and I'm new to this.

For a final price of $550, this is a steal. But is putting up with Verizon worth it?

I've never had a problem with Verizon which is why I don't mind being locked in for 2 years. Others will have to decide based on their need and experience.

I have never had any problems with Verizon either except bill credits suck and phone sales should not require unlimited.

Doesn't a 24 month contract with Verizon cos have a $40 line access cost instead of $20 or is this an old price structure?

What the cheapest Verizon plan can I use for 60 day of service before unlock?
And what the correct strategy to pay the phone full quick and finally get it unlocked?

Are you sure you're locked in? I think you can pay the phone off whenever you want, and unlock the phone 60 days later. Am I wrong?

They charge a $40 fee when you activate a new phone. If you order from their site they only charge you $20 currently but the price of the phone is way higher on their site currently.

I'm not sure about that. I personally don't need to unlock mine and I wouldn't want to give advice to others that might cost them money.

This may be the same as Best Buy's Black Friday pricing, which is also advertised as $400-500 off. Discounts on all the models. It isn't clear if this involves bill credits but the S10 and S10+ are within a few dollars of Costco's 11/22 - 12/2 prices which does not include bill credits. If you want a phone now or don't have a Costco near you then go with Best Buy.

Edit: I actually had the prices change on me within the past few minutes. They went down a couple dollars, then back up a couple dollars.

I think you have to be VW customer during 60 days to have phone unlocked. Correct me if I am wrong

Plus best buy gives you money for a trade in if you need to

I'm aware of the $40 activation fee (or the supposed $20 thru the website). However, I'm curious if there's a change to the monthly line access charge on my bill during the 24 month contract. Out of contract, I pay $20 per line and my data plan is separate. I recall a line access charge of $40 last time I was locked in a Verizon 24 month contract several years ago.
