JBL PartyBox 100 - $269.95 at Dell

I've been watching this for a while now to replace my crappy Ion Block Rocker that died yet again (Been through 3-4 batteries now). Should be a great replacement for tailgating. The PartyBox 100 sounds practically the same as the bigger and more expensive 300 from the reviews I've found. It is also the newest model and this is the cheapest I've seen it so far. I used my dell rewards from an Alienware deal and cashback site to knock the price down some more.

I have one of these and love it. I had the JBL Xtreme but it didn't get quite loud enough outside so I made the upgrade. I started out looking at the JBL Boombox but then happened upon this beast. I really want to get a second to go stereo but I might wait and see if it goes any lower since I won't be using it much till summer rolls back around.

Nice find! There are some New (Open Box) ones for $240 on eBay if you're looking to save a little more.

Dammit.

I do not need one of these, but my Ion probably sucks comparatively.

I don't understand how a speaker this large is even usable for any appreciable amount of time with only a 2500mAh battery. The JBL Boombox is comparatively smaller yet has a 20000mAh battery.

darn, that was quick... the 300 is still on sale for $100 off for anyone interested. Check back again next week otherwise it might go on sale again for BF.

I had the 300 and actually returned it. I have two Boombox and the overall sound quality is much better....waaaaayyyyy more balanced. Not as loud as the 300, but sound damn good. I woulda def grabbed two of those 100's for tail gates tho.

The only thing that I can think of is the battery is 14.4v vs ?
