Not sure how slick this is. I just bought this unit for that same price about 2 weeks ago. Not a bad sound bar, but it has some quirks with HDMI ARC.

What quirks have you come across? It has a lot of good reviews on Amazon and was listed was one of the best sound bars under $200 this year on a few sites. Not sure how it compares to the Yahama 207 that was just on sale but a few people said that 3D sound technology wasn't that great on that one. Sounded kind of hollow.

If people are going to down vote posts and comments, please explain why. I'm not seeing why a sound bar with good reviews marked down from $200 to $130 is not a slick deal.

Is there some bias in the soundbar section? Audiophiles please weigh in.

I agree, this s2 has been $149 on amazon for months and on and off sale regularly since its release. So you want thumbs up for a whopping $10 discount? Lol good one. Guess you thought this site was called mediocre deals.

last week I purchased Yahama Yas 207. I went to buy polk today after going through the reviews to replace yamaha 207, but after listening to polk I have decided to keep my yahama 207. yamaha 207 is far better thn polk 2.1

1st off lay off the pills and learn some math. This was $200. It is now $140. That would be a $60 discount. You're snubbing your nose because I didn't post links to Best Buy and Target as well? My sincerest apologies. Was just trying to help people out who were looking for a decently reviewed sub-$200 sound bar that's now on sale. Lesson learned, sir.

I think it's like $10 and some change. You can send that thumbs up now.

I bought this a couple weeks ago. Hooked up to a new Vizio V-Series 55", it's going to go back -- it puts out a decent amount of volume and sounds OK, at medium to medium-loud volumes. Subwoofer won't wow, but it does help.
Here's why it's going back:
1. No ability to tweak EQ other than bass up or down
2. Big gap between volume adjustments, creating the problem of being too loud or too soft
3. Soundbar alone gets pretty tinny and doesn't like midrange very much
4. Just doesn't sound good at lower volumes, which is what I need where the TV is set up.
