Cutting Cord - How to watch AMC, BRAVO, ETC

379 33 November 21, 2019 at 04:37 PM
so if I dropped DirecTV, and I want to use my Roku or whatever, and watch shows directly off of the apps for, example, AMC, BRAVO (my wife), etc....

Is the only way to do this, is I have to sign up for some other service, like YoutubeTV, Sling, etc?

If I dont sign up for those services, then I am assuming I can't watch episodes from those apps, and the only services I will have are the likes of Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc.

Some stations will put their stuff\some shows online after the fact for free...Others\most will charge you or make you go through some service.

Hulu is probably your best bet though I do not think they offer AMC. There is no free lunch though and it all comes down to what channels you want and whether or not you need them live. If for ex, you want live local sports, you are basically sol if you are a cord cutter as most of the online sports packages (mlb.tv for ex) will black out local broadcasts.
