Is that really that big of a deal? Lead acid batteries life span is about 10yrs. Not sure of lithium ion. What is the big difference except for having to pay a lot more for lithium ion? Also, not many options for lithium ion riding mowers that I can see. Thoughts?

I've been keeping my eye out for these Ryobi electric mowers. Lots of bugs still, especially with the charging, battery indicator, and plastic decks. I'm waiting until the quality improves or a cheap gas zero turn that is cheaper to maintain. Service stories have not been good

I bought one in their last sale. The cutting deck isn't plastic!

"In most cases, lithium-ion battery technology is superior to lead-acid due to its reliability and efficiency, among other attributes. However, in cases of small off-grid storage systems that aren't used regularly, less expensive lead-acid battery options can be preferable."

I have been watching this mower for 2 years and waited for this sale.
I passed cause it came late.

It should pop up again in the spring so will jump on it then but hopeful there is a newer model with Li batteries OR cheaper sale price.
