So tempted, but the total for me was 1951 (+$130 taxes). I cant withdraw from rakuten so $2000 is just too much.

NO it is not, the fact that the 2060 can beat the 2080maxq on a few benchmarks is telling.

Basically a 2060 has the same power limit as 2070mq and 2080mq

The 2070 and 2080 have more shaders, HOWEVER, if the game is running up against the power limit, Those shaders don't do anything to improve performance because the whole card throttles down.

That's been the criticism for this round of laptops.

The only time 2070 and 2080 is worth the premium is in NON-Max Q laptops which may as well be desktops because of how heavy they are. hahaha.
