Take their claims with a grain of salt. They used data that doesn't match the norm for contacts switches.

From what I can tell, Monoprice isn't comparing their switches to any other switches. They're giving honest specs about the keyboard. The article posted by TekkenLord on Tom's is about Bloody Gaming comparing their switch specs to other switch specs that don't match the current competition market. Doesn't take anything away from the specs themselves. WHICH FOR $20 SHOULD NOT BE SEEN AS ANYTHING BUT A STEAL.

I bought the red one a few months back for $30, and man the build quality is great. Really looks and feels like it's not some cheap plastic keyboard. First time with red switches though, and I find them loud. So I'm sure blue switches are as loud or louder.

I got the red version of this for my daughter a few months ago for $30. It's been rock solid for her. If they had the reds in stock, I'd snag a spare at this price. I love the feel of blues, but never cared for the audible click. My personal choice is the browns, wish they had one of those for this board.
