From what I've gathered, Otemus have extremely variable quality and are more prone to failures. These aren't as widely adopted but I haven't heard of any early failures just yet.

Those Aukey deals come up so often, but every time I read the reviews and stop myself. Shame, I like those round keycaps. I was thinking of grabbing a board with those to swap to my board if possible.

A grossly oversimplified guide:
- Red = smooth linears keys (quiet by comparison)
- Blue = super clicky tactile keys (loud by comparison)
- Brown = less clicky tactile keys somewhere between red and blue (quieter than blue but can vary compared to red)

Really comes down to preference. If noise is not an issue, I would personally choose blue all day long. $20 for any of these is a steal.

i just can't use anything with a numpad anymore. really kills ergonomics for me. unless you need it for work or something it's just wasted desk space and forces your arms further apart. even for work i'd rather have a separate numpad

So is red good for office? Even my cheapo keyboard still makes sound though.
