Theres a LG 75" 4K LED 75UM8070PUA for $930 on costco. How does this tv compares to that one? Is it really worth 1.5 times price to that LG?

Probably worth 2x more.

That LG is an IPS panel. This is a very good VA panel.

The LG is just big. This has a very good picture with enough brightness for good HDR and solid contrast.

I've heard it does poor upscaling of your cable programs (720p or 1080i?) Owners, please chime in. I watch 70% non-4k content and it is nice to have a TV that does a decent upscaling.

Thanks. Is it better than Sony XBR 900F? This one on amazon is for $200 more, but the TV bracket installation is included and it also has VA panel.

Great .. both look very similar. I would probably go for Sony as it has android and Google assistant in-built.

Picked it up last night at my local Costco. Upscaling is great... but it's going back. Horrible blooming issues on my set that are unacceptable for a flagship.

For sure for sure. I meant it for someone looking to upgrade to 75" from a 65". I myself can't downgrade to a 65" so I have been eyeing this or the X900F

I saw the same thing. not satisfied with the overall picture quality for the $$ I compared side by side with previous TCL 4 series and I could hardly notice a difference on 720p/1080p content. Maybe I got a bad panel. But for me, not worth the extra $1000 compared to something like TCL 4 series which is available for $700. Depends on what you want though

I recently bought this at Costco and while I can't speak to relative value, in the 75" range there are not that many options sub-$2K and this thing knocks it out of the park. Blacks are super inky, colors are vivid, motion processing seems fine, I don't find the interface to be as terrible as others have claimed. Go for it - worst case you have Costco return policy if you hate it. FYI Vizio is releasing a firmware update to allow Disney+ in December.

I bought one last night as well and won't be able to unpack it until tomorrow. However paying for it with my Costco visa doubled the warranty to 4 years and of course you get cash back at the end of the year as well. Nope I have no issues with mine as it was a beast to fit in the SUV.

This is the best performance to price ratio for a 75". Of course the LG C9 77" would be significantly better but it costs double the price on a good deal. If you have the cash then go for the 77" which is more future proof as it has HDMI 2.1 for 4K/120fps and eARC else go for this one.
