They still aren't cheap but the discounts may be good enough for those who are already Lifx users.
The most expensive bundle appears to be the greatest discount. I couldn't find any history of deep discounts on many of the bulbs listed.
Did the research here and on CamelCamelCamel it's still about $45 cheaper than the 'realistic' lowest prices found online. (Excluding one off clearance and YMMV posts).
For those of you tracking prices like me hopefully this will help in your 'when to buy' decision.
Here's my research/Calculations for those curious:

Their products suck ,they have MAJOR MAJOR connectivity problems and are not worth the headache
Much more trouble than they are worth and they are worth less than zero
They will cause problems on your network and require you to make unheard of changes to your network

Your products are pure 💩💩💩💩
My router is an Asus 5300 ROG rapture and I have another Asus rt ac 66u_b1 in my aimesh their POS products do not connect with the 2nd router on or off
I am not the only one with issues read the play store app reviews
Their app is garbage
So none of their products work they do not work with the app so they do not work at all
I did the connectivity troubleshooting guide which tells you to make ridiculous changes to your network
That nobody would ever want to make and which should not be required
For any decent normal smart home product and guess what, it's still not working even after making all the ridiculous changes they suggested
Anyone reading can go to Reddit or the Google play store and see all the horrible reviews for themselves they do not have to take my word for it
These products are hot garbage 🔥🔥
Avoid at all costs
I also see reports of the app randomly rebooting people's devices and these lights causing all kinds of networking problems
I only got it cause the tiles looked cool and were on sale but i can tell you it was a HUGE MISTAKE
I AM RETURNING AND WILL NEVER BE PURCHASING ANOTHER LIFX PRODUCT EVER AGAIN ,NO PHONE OR CHAT SUPPORT AND NON WORKING PRODUCTS
WITH MAJOR MAJOR CONNECTIVITY PROBLEMS
Wireless network rewire included in the box.
If that means I'm educated and dont post in emojis and all caps, then ya i'm a boomer.

No it means I have a competently configured home wifi network.
TL;DR summary: In my use case Orbi mesh + HomeKit = easy!
For those that like stories, read on.
I have an Orbi RBK-50 as my WiFi Mesh/router. Bought 8 LIFX Dusk to Dawn bulbs from a slickdeal.
All but one light connected flawlessly with HomeKit. Don't know what the deal was with the last light but...eventually it corrected itself after about several frustrating minutes of 'WTF is going on' troubleshooting.
In my case, I specifically chose Orbi as my router because it rated as one of the best/fastest routers for in-home device to device communication. That 5ghz backhaul has made a significant difference for me on many levels. One of which is a reduction in the lag of my Arlo Baby Monitor.
Second point of importance is I decided to go as hub-less as possible. So Philips is out. Lutron switches are out. Also it's homekit or nothing for me. This is largely due to privacy concerns with Google and Amazon which, hands down are far superior on the voice assistant front.
LIFX are expensive and there is a history of people like Oregon having genuine connectivity issues BUT....I have not experienced this AND I suspect my choices in how I connect my tech are a factor. I wonder if Oregon's two router setup is the issue.
Lastly, it is my understanding that LIFX bulbs create their own mesh network when they connect. So they communicate between each other. Which, makes them super responsive in my experience.
LIFX are brighter and from what I've researched, the colors are richer, and the response times faster.
So....that's me. But what works best for you and PLEASE PLEASE do your research and plan ahead with your designs.
Good luck all!
