If I'm on a grandfathered 5 lines for $100 plan adding a line would jeopardize that right? So no way to use the $60 on my existing account?

Edit: you also have to port in a number.

Wondering if we can do the "port a number, but never activate it and use that credit for existing lines" deal like we could on this deal last year...

Set up a new account and just add the $60 to the cost of the phones.

Number transfer discount only showing up one line.

Found a workaround, add three to cart then remove the expensive one.

6 months of service, unless you get lucky and ATT will unlock through their portal. YMMV

Potentially, but only with an ATT SIM.

Does anyone have experience with buying a port number on eBay to get the promo price, and then activating the phone on an existing cricket account? Tia

Last time around all you do is add the line to your account using the number and PIN from the ebay purchase. The plan amount will be added as a credit to your existing account. Don't activate the new SIM that comes with the phone, throw it away. The new line will fall off the account after 30 days, and in the mean time feel free to use the new phone with an existing SIM/line.

Thanks for the info. However, I have a grandfathered plan that I can't add a line to.
