Thanks op for posting this. Bought these a few weeks back from target lol.

Sound quality is pretty good for everyday use I would say. Pretty crisp voice. Treble and bass is pretty good as well. My only gripe is that the headphones cups can only turn flat and not fold...

There is the other deal from costco, slightly pricier and higher model I think for $129.embership though. So yeah, I'm good with this deal.

best buy and amazon have same model number, but I notice amazon says works with alexa all over the place and on best buy it only says works with google assistant? does this mean they have different versions? or do they just not like full specs at either place?

These are frequently sold for under $60 refurbished on eBay. I think at that price they offer a lot of value.

There's only one version. You can configure them to use either assistant.

Mine are over a year old and I also bought for $89 then. Sound quality is great, noise cancellation is basically non-existent though. I also have the Bose QC 25, and if you are okay with wired headphones, I would buy those over these Sonys, especially if you can get the Bose ones for under $130.

Best Buy's customer service is absolutely awful. Word to the wise, if you receive something from BestBuy.com that was damaged by the carrier (UPS, FedEx, USPS), the replacement sent by Best Buy will require a signature (the cost makes no difference, as my replacement was a $4.99 steelbook). It does not matter if you take the damaged one to the store before getting a replacement either. Amazon or Walmart is the better way to go as far as customer service is concerned and if it's damaged during shipping, you won't be inconvenienced further.

It looks like the Geek Squad is downvoting my comment, even though I'm speaking from experience and trying to save someone a headache.

According to CCC this would be a historic low. Lowest before was 89.99

I have had this for almost a year now and can tell you I've encountered no problems EXCEPT accidentally powering it off when I lay in bed on the side with my arm underneath my head. I love the noise cancelling feature so much. I sometimes just turn on the headphones without playing music and bask in the silence. 🤤 Total concentration while reading

In my experience with Sony noise cancelation you got a bad pair of headphones. I would look into warranty repair if it's still possible.
