Kaspersky AV 3 Device 2020 - $9.99 at Newegg (download)

I know there are a lot of people afraid of Kaspersky these days, but for those of you that are brave this is a decent deal for the best AV around. I used to get the whole suite for free before but they don't give them away anymore and really all I need is their AV. So this is as good as I could find. But heads up, sale ends in 23 hours and it's the download version.

I miss the good ol' days of weekly FAR Kaspersky deals. Made a nice little resale side business.

Same. Now using the crippled FREE Kaspersky version. Though it's enough for me, some settings are not allowed to change.

Still the best.

The NSA anti-endorsement is a reason you should use it.
And in the recent credit card information got stolen incident from LaView security camera website, as far as I know Kaspersky is the only anti-virus blocked the user when accessing the website (it's a malware running on website that steal credit information when checkout, not installed to the client browser). Unfortunately, I ignored the warning and turned Kaspersky off to buy from them and got fraud charges to my CC.

Been using KIS or KTS for many years. Also have Bitdefender bc of the insane sale ages ago. I have to say both are excellent, especially if you play games with trainers (less false alerts). Started using KAV since Win95 era, and it remains one of the best PC protection pograms IMHO.

This download version... Will they email you a key that you can install at any time? I have a current subscription and don't need to install right away. If I download this and don't use it for 6 months, do I lose any time on subscription?

my current license will expire next June. This one doesn't say when do I need to activate it. I had an experience of failed license when I tried to activate it half year later after purchase.

Yea, back about 5 years, Kaspersky, Bitdefender, Dragon Natrually Speaking, and more were all FAR, and often. Being that I'm disabled reselling them helped with the bills.
Btw, LOL at those who TD my earlier post because I mentioned reselling then, like I GAF. As someone who is disabled and unable to work a regular job, reselling software helped keep the lights on.

Absolutely nothing wrong with reselling a FAR deal you worked to get. Rebates are rewards for people who can follow directions precisely. Those who choose not to or are incapable of doing so get to pay more.

Just wondering the Bitdefender insane deal ages ago (maybe 2014) was that the 3 cent one (could of been 30 cent)? If so I still had like 4 more keys left unused. I checked yesterday and none worked.

Actually it is Bd IS 2013, and $0.13 for each key. I think the keys are no longer valid once you upgrade to 2017 or 2018. If your current keys are 7 letters/numbers long, then they are the old set. New keys are 10 letters/numbers, and they need to be re-issued by Bd. Hope that helps. Smilie

This is what I found from a NewEgg customer who asked this question in Q&A.

"you will be sent an email containing a link to download as well as the activation key. There will also be a button on the Digital Download link for your account to send the activation key to your email should you lose it or not get the email."

So to answer your question you have at least till the end of 2020 to install. But it's possible the key could be good longer.

Usually the keys run in 3 year periods depending on Kaspersky's time frame. Don't know how to explain it: A key may be 3 years old & still be activated & yet same key may only have 1 year. For example keys may good from 2017 to 2019. So the 2017 key could still be good & would be updated to current 2020. If Kaspersky's time period 2018 to 2020 you may have 1 year to acitvate. If the period is 2020 to 2023 the code would be good for 3 years. Sorry I don't know what time period they are now in so this product would at least be good through at least 2020 maybe longer.

Always has been but the fear mongering from the idiots on here & elsewhere gave it a bad name. Kaspersky is the only one I use. I'm getting the next step up Internet Security & gladly pay $20 for it.
