Same computer went Frontpage a few days ago from B&H for $1099, so I think this is a great deal as it is $100 cheaper and you get the bonus items.

No one is pushing 144hz in 1440p on a laptop. It's not happening. No one is buying 1440p/144hz laptops. They don't make them for a reason. Laptops struggle to push 1440p at high refresh rates.
Very few laptops are pushing 60 FPS in 4K either. So few people are going to be willing to play games in 4k under 60 FPS for a higher price when they can play the same game in 1080p at 144hz. Don't think your RTX1060 on a laptop is equal to the RTX1060 on a PC. This is why all tech websites break down these GPU by their application (PC vs Laptop). Laptop GPUs are almost always weaker, with very few exceptions (Max-P versions instead of Max-Q versions)
There was a Tech Linus episode this week comparing 60hz gaming to 144hz gaming 244hz. They pitted a bunch of pro-players against each other for different reaction tests, aim tests, speed tests, and sniper battles. Shroud was one of the top known pro players who was involved in the test. Shroud took 40 attempts at 60hz to nail the "double door dust" sniper shot that all pros practice. This is a professional CS player struggling to find the timing to nail this shot. Then put him on 144hz next, and he nailed 8 out of 10 attempts.
144hz is a huge advantage over 60hz in FPS games, which is the biggest genre in gaming right now. Games like PUBG, Fortnite, Counter Strike, and Modern Warfare all offer huge advantages in higher frame rates over lower frame rates. At the same time, you actually struggle in 4k mode due to the fact that the game in 4k mode now offers more "realistic" imagery such as a giant sun shining in your face and making it impossible to look in certain direction due to the blinding sun and shadowing.
I play in 1440p / 144hz and can't stomach playing in 60hz anymore. I would easily go with 1080p 144hz over 4k in 60hz in any game.

Does anyone know if this will still get a restock fee if returned?
