Its been proven (many times) that is not how LG warranties work, there is no unauthorized seller verbiage present in their warranty and people register thier TVs just fine from ebay sellers.
Having said that, i wouldn't buy a TV like this from the ebay anyway. I picked it up locally for 100$ more.
