YMMV - TCL 75" Roku TV (75S425) - $595 + tax for today 11/24 only

Target has the 75425S on "sale" for $899.99.

Best Buy has it on sale for $699.99 (reg price of $899.99).

I went to Target today hoping for a price match to BB and then getting the extra 15% off today only (11/24) that they advertised in their ad for TVs and soundbars.

Because Best Buy's sale price was a normal sale and not a clearance or Black Friday only price Target price matched it and gave me the 15% off so the tv cost me $595 + tax ($648 here in MO).

Since I can't guarantee you that it will work at all Targets I put YMMV. If I haven't posted this correctly just let me know and I'll try to fix it.

I used my Discover card as I get 5% back from Target this month. I don't have the Target card, and unsure of their exact policy, but I thought I read that it gives 5% back at Target.

I used the calibration settings on rtings on my 55" 4 series as well as this and am personally happy with the results. This is the link to those settings if you want to try them out.

If you're on the fence about the TV the $699.99 Best Buy deal got 70 thumbs up so even at that price many people thought it was a good budget big screen TV.

15% of $899.99 is $135 so price should be $765. I think you got luck & they give you 15% off $699.99.
I don't think I was as clear as I should have been so I edited my post to hopefully make things clearer. I hope that helps.

So basically go to Target and PM the BB $699.99 price [bestbuy.com] and add the additional Target 15% discount [target.com].

So you have them price match to $699.99 from Best buy and then the 15% automatically applies after they hit total/payment? Or do I need them to scan my phone?

Exactly.

Was the additional 15% discount automatic or you requested for an override?

This tv was $399.99 back in July. Limited stock or price mistake at the time by the looks of this post https://slickdeals.net/f/13218763-75-tcl-75s425-4k-uhd-hdr-roku-smart-led-hdtv-400-free-shipping?src=SiteSearchV2Algo1

I showed them the Best Buy ad in electronics and they did it no problem.

I asked about the 15%, as far as I know they didn't do an override as he didn't mention it.

I actually cut a piece of MDF and laid it on top of my stand as a temporary stand.

I know the 6 series is the preference but for my budget, and having owned a 55" 4 series, the 4 series is 100% okay for my use.
