No. I own it. It's very much made for large hands. If you have small hands as I do, you have to open your hands wide. The analog sticks stick up really high which, because I have small hands, makes it even more difficult to use the controller because my thumbs have to be at a poor angle. You need to put some effort into pushing the shoulder triggers, which are difficult to push on this controller. To be honest, I thought the triggers would be easier to push overtime but I used the controller daily for 3 years and they never stopped being hard to push. Before you ask, the controller only lasted that long because I opened it up and fixed it whenever it had issues. Unresponsive buttons, cable not working, etc.
The Logitech F310 is also a very flimsy controller. The dpad is horrid (i used to call it the balancing board because it's just this single large piece that tilts rather than actual buttons so be prepared to push down and down right at the same time by mistake). When opened, though, the dpad buttons do have their own individual buttons anyway (wtf logitech?). On multiple occasions, I've had to open up the controller and fix the button rubbers because they lose it's position, ripped, or need to be cleaned. The usb cable for connecting to devices isn't protected at all internally despite movement, so be prepared for tearing inside the controller. To give added protection, I opened the controller and wrapped the cable in electric tape.
I'd say the only good thing about this controller is the switch on the back of it to enable direct input or x-input. Bypasses the need for drivers.
For kids, I recommend buying the Switch Pro controller or the Playstation 4 controller. They're absolutely awesome for small hands.
