Agreed, I like mine as well. I don't use them too often, but they've held up well.

Fyi (for some), those are not the entire shoes..it's just the metal part and upper plastic frame.

Received these for Xmas last year. Used them immediately after on an impromptu hike; it was snowing up on the mountain and the trails were cached with ice. We were passing people left and right on the trail because we could move so much quicker with the grip. However, after hiking for just a mile the bottoms of my feet hurt where the spikes are placed. They work great in a pinch, but if you need full on multiple mile options I recommend picking up some higher quality brands like Yaktrak or Kahtoola micro spikes. Both Yaktrak and Kahtoola are definitely higher quality builds, can be worn longer without issue, and I would bet would last longer under repeated use. But then again: these work great in a pinch for sure and I'm glad that I have them for icy moments. At this price: hard to say no.

In for one. I've used Yaktrax for years but these look like a definite upgrade (no?) and at $10! TU and thanks!
