One person says it's thick and firm, another says it squishes down to nothing. Very helpful, guys.

I bought three last time they were on sale. They are super, super firm. Whoever described them as a flat rock is dead on. I like a firm pillow with some give to it, but these made my neck stiff. I now use one as a seat cushion and the other two for pet beds. The animals love them. My conclusion: They are great to sit on.

I have one of these. It is quite thick and quite firm. On a previous thread, another poster described it as a flat square rock. My wife thinks it's great.

Can anyone speak on the comfort of these? Looking to replace a Tempur-pedic memory foam pillow I've had for a while…

Been using this pillow for a good year+, very comfortable and has just the right firmness for me. Not squishy/soft/easily collapsible like other memory foam pillows. Does hold it shape nicely. Great for the price. Got another one to take with me when traveling since hotel pillows are horrible.

If you prefer a firm over a soft, and a thick over a thin pillow then you should try it.

This pillow (The Big One® Gel Memory Foam Side Sleeper Pillow) helps me with my cervicogenic headaches. I tried tens of different pillows over the years and this one has been the best so far. I rarely have headaches in the morning now and use it daily unless I travel.

Thinking of buying another one for my parent's house for when I stay over.

As someone who has been seeking the best extra firm side sleeper, this ain't that. It squishes down to nothing. Zero support.

All "Big One" products are crap IMHO.
