A couple bucks higher than the last FP deal! Great for travel (maybe not air as it's 111 watt from the Q&A section).

Technically it's terrible for travel as it has a higher capacity than the FAA allows.

This is 111 Wh.

Personal experience only, but I've traveled with a 30k before with no problems.

111 Wh is fine, as long as you bring two or fewer. The limit is 160 wh. Theoretically an airline could disallow these power banks, but I don't know of any that do. Most just reiterate the 2 per person limit.

100 is the limit, and 101-160 is allowed if you get special approval ahead of time.

But yes, as someone else said I also travel with a 30k battery (without preapproval) and it's never been an issue for me either. The TSA is too incompetent to check. That's why I put "technically" at the start of my comment. Might become a problem some day.

As a nice bonus 2 day shipping would arrive on wed 11/27 or I can choose free prime day delivery for a $1 digital credit with a delivery on 11/27. Hard choice laugh out loud

How does one get airline approval to get these things on board?

Great price and specs, but I would personally never trust it. There is a lot of cost associated with even decent quality power management protection. I would bet they are cutting at least some corners on safety here.

(I work in a semiconductor industry directly related to this).

Would highly recommend forgoing this capacity (and physical size) which is not needed by most consumers. Instead, suggest going with an Anker (if you can afford it) or a Xiaomi.

Do you ever find yourself outdoor for long period of time that need several charges for your phone, devices? Then this would be helpful. If the length is not that great, maybe 10000 or up to 20000 would be better with regards to weight and price. You can go for better brands like Anker.

At least not for China. I traveled to Hong Kong and transit at Beijing airport before. The custom check every single power bank on its specifications and make sure it won't go over the limit.
