Anyone else receive one where the bin was dirty and with scuffed up rollers with some cracked lines? I feel that I got a return but email support is not budging with any solutions. They simply said the dust is talc and that the scuffs are normal.
Take some photos and let's see what you got.

Thanks for the reply. Photos attached!

I can agree with the roller as it might be manufactured that way but not sold that the bin should arrive in that condition.

I was leaning towards purchasing the V8 over the V10 intil I saw the V8 battery lifespan is 2 years and a replacement costs $50. The V10 battery life is at least 15 years. I think the V10 is the better choice if you plan on keeping more than 5 years.
I love being geeky. If the batteries die I'll just replace them myself.

I think that is fine/normal... at least those "crack lines" are (probably a seam?). I don't remember if my bin came like that though.

Does the toolkit comes separately? Mine arrives as just one box.

I finally got mine and it broke the 2nd day. The trigger had been sticking from day one but I thought that was by design. Day two the trigger broke and it would not shut off. It finally shut off when the battery died 15 minutes later.

That sucks. I'm really liking mine.

Def different kits. The deep clean kit has the mattress and the hose which his what you want. I just chatted in and told them they sent me the wrong kit. Go here: https://www.dyson.com/deals.html [dyson.com] and clean the "Learn more" for a list of the below tools when you chat in with them. Same exact thing they tried doing to me, I think they oversold, tell them you just want them to send the individual tools, doesn't need to be the 'kit'.

Deep Clean kit
Stubborn dirt brush: Stiff bristles to clean dried-in and stubborn dirt.
Extension hose: Extends and flexes to reach awkward spaces.
Mattress tool: Removes dust and allergens from mattresses and upholstery.

Clean & Organize kit
Tool bag: Stow and organize your Dyson vacuum's tools in this handy bag with shoulder strap.
Up top adapter: Clicks into different positions and angles for easy high-reach cleaning.
Same thing happened to me. They sent me the organizing kit and try to convince me that it was same as Deep Clean kit. I sent them item descriptions from here and they acknowledge there was a mistake but since it's a free item, they will not be sending out a new one. Were you able to have them send you a new one?

Yeah they sent me the two tools I was missing for free, they offered to send them to me, I didn't even have to ask. Sucks that they didn't want to send you a new one, I'd return the whole thing in protest, try another chat person?

I got two packages. package 1 being the V8 absolute, and the second package being the Organize kit, with all the organize tools, and not the deep clean kit that I had ordered. They didn't ask me to ship back the organize kit back, so now I get two kits for free.
I called and was able to find someone to send me the new kit. He offered me V10 motorhead for $50 more with flat out head and extra filter.. I bit on that, but I wonder if I made the right choice.
