Looks like a lot of the Sony cameras are up to 50% off on the site. Pretty good deals.

What do you think for a first real camera? Gonna be taking some trips and would like to start taking some nice photos. And doing some processing work on my free time. Was looking at these just the other day before they went on sale

A6000 16-50mm Lens $325
A6300 16-50mm Lens $499
A7 Full Frame 28-70mm Lens $499

Edit: no A6400 in stock, however A6500 body for $999.

Wait... 6400 may be in stock for $999 with lens

is that it?

Yeah, that's the a6400 for $999. Best bang for the buck would be the A7ii. For $799 with lens, A7II; Full frame and 5-axis stabilization for photography.

Well it's a good price if your a veteran. If your not it's not for you. Unless your a dishonest person. Then if your a dishonest person it's a good deal. If your a dishonest and a thief it's a terrible deal and you would have already hijacked the truck carrying these.

Can someone tell me the logged in member price of the point and shoot cameras? Or make a complete list for the cameras? Yes my wife has a membership but she is currently snoring and I have been married 30 years.

Even with discount dilemma is how much to spend on these kind of electronics when mobiles are able to take nice pictures.

I just compared the 6300 and 6400 on DPREVIEW and I can hardly tell the difference. $500 for the 6300 (it's $1k on Amazon) seems like a great deal even if the camera is almost 4 years old.

6300 is fantastic camera. I use mine almost every day for video shoots. Took it with me all my trips this year. Got a few expensive lenses for it tho. My Canon 5D MkII collecting dust

The main difference is the eye autofocus of the A6400. If you take pictures of people, then the A6400 is the better tool. Otherwise, both are very similar.
