IMO if you already have a standalone Fire Stick, Roku, and/or Chromecast, you might get a better deal on a full 1080 "dumb" TV in the $75 range if you hold out a few more days. I say this only because I got one of those Wal Mart ONN 43" 1080p TVs for $74 a few months ago and it's worked great with all of my various devices plugged into it (Roku, Cable Box, Xbox One). I imagine there've got to be some similar deals on the horizon for similarly spec'd dumb TVs.

Of course this is a great deal too IMO if you don't want to hassle with connecting various different devices to a single TV and have a use for the echo dot.

I believe this is the tv I got for my mom and dad at Best Buy to use in their kitchen. Picture quality is great.
The only negative is that it randomly turns on on its own.

Maybe the microwave interferes with it somehow? The thing is, it will turn on by itself even without the microwave being used.

So the tv has to be unplugged and then plugged back in when they want to use it.

Thank you OP. Ordering this just in case I strike out with all the sub $100 BF deals. Thankfully it arrives December 3rd. So I can cancel this if I succeed or keep the delivery if all else fails. Looks like the Dot ships today but the TV doesn't ship till next month.

At 32 inches I dont think it matters if it is 720p. Unless you plan to use this as monitor just for use as a TV this is more than enough. And I am not imagining you are thinking this as the main TV in your home. I am buying this for my bedroom and the built in smart functionality is a bonus. Will just give away the alexa speaker has a christmas present.

Yes you can probably get a dumb TV and most of the times it is better that way since if it is not a Roku or Fire TV most cheap smart TV interface just sucks! But if you can cell the echo dot for $25 this is $75 ish with the 5% back and also only 1 remote to deal with and less clutter!

Obviously you didn't read the fine print at the bottom stating "Free ghost included with every purchase."
