Aside from this one, many of the ezviz cameras are discounted between 30 and 50% off by clicking their respective coupons. I bought the 100% wireless model (similar in form to Arlo) yesterday at $60.

I have 720p version. It's more than an year now, works great.

Echo show compatible (you can see the video and listen audio, but can't talk).

Google home app is very convenient for enabling/disabling motion alerts. But voice command never worked with my nest hub.

No free cloud storage. Need to pay for subscription if you need cloud storage.

Otherwise you can use micro SD storage. Everything else works the same.

Can it record events to SD or only continuous recording?

Let me get this straight..from 1 of the reviews.

You can record onto SD for free, you can view the camera on the same network for free. HOWEVER, you have to use their cloud ($/month) if you want to view the cam on the phone on a different network? That seems ridiculous.

Can you at least watch the live stream when triggered without having to pay for the cloud?

Awesome, so you don't need to buy into the service. Do you use their app to view the SD card files?

Yes, EZVIZ app for iOS. Probably same for Android.

Don't need service unless you need cloud storage. No fee for live stream or micro sd storage (and remote access).
