I just got the harbor freight version of this last month for $99. I wonder if this is nicer?

I do this but it rests really awkwardly on my shoulder. That said, it is probably the best way to move it if you don't have the wheels.

Wheeled version does go on sale at this price though so if you don't need it during the fall, might as well wait for the spring sale. Apparently there's a wheel kit now though so if you need it now and don't mind buying the extra kit, go for it. It's a good ladder either way, I'm just annoyed that I paid for the one without a wheel kit considering I use it on concrete around my house all the time.

naw, just hug and carry is bestnod

These ladders are dangerous. They are very heavy and unwieldy making them useless indoors. The biggest issue is the danger they present when lowering the upper section. It is so heavy that it can crash down. Hopefully you only have your foot on the bottom rung while attempting to lower it. Mine crashed down on my foot and put me out of business for several days. The bruise ran across my foot and up my ankle. I returned my to HD. My neighbor has one and the same thing happened to him. Put him on crutches for a month. I really think that they will be pulled from the market once we get back to a functioning government.

Bummer. Not within a 100 miles from me and they say my zip code is not eligible for Express Delivery. I'm in Utah County.
All of my local HDs said "limited stock" online for the whole week leading up to black friday. I went into HD on black friday and they had 6 of these ladders in stock. The Gorilla platforms also said limited stock but they had at least 20 in stock. I bought one of each.

In its lowest position, it is basically 2 ladders in one body. It is heavy for its physical size but not for its mass. Any physically healthy person should be able to maneuver this ladder except in the fully extended position, where 2 people is the norm.

You need a smaller ladder
