I've been looking for a deal on a ladder with a higher weight rating. I'm a big guy around 300 and I've been killing my 6 foot fiberglass rated at 225 for years lol. Its starting to complain a little more than normal now a days so i guess I'll get a proper ladder lol.

If your selected store is out of stock and you're having trouble adding it to cart from another store, you may have to use the Store Finder and select the store you want to purchase from first. I keep getting the thinking circle when trying to add it to cart when my local store was out of stock and tried to use the popup to add to cart from another store.

Same price as a Little Giant ladder at 17.5 feet that Lowes has in their Black Friday flyer.
forgot $30 of $50 lowes coupon you can buy online for $6. That drops down to $64(incl $6 for coupon)

Wait for the one with wheels IMO. It's usually the same price for whatever reason. The ladder isn't exactly heavy but it is an awkward shape to move around. You can't carry it on its side easily like a telescoping ladder and it's weird to put your arm through it.

The best way to carry these is to put one of the rungs on your shoulder and grab a lower rung with your hands through the ladder. I tried that and it was super comfortable. The ladder rests really firmly on my shoulder and was super easy to move. You can also get the wheel kit for $15+- if you dont get a deal on a wheeled version.

This is the ladder that is on their ad for $89 but it wont be active until later. Another thing to consider is the little giant is a tad bit heavier. Also this comment was made in reference to the 300lb model by HD which is also $88.88 and more widely available. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Little-G...1001038922

Used my 18 foot Warner I got 4 years ago rated to 300 pounds. Had no problem going up on it extended all the way. I am a bigger guy and never felt like it was going to fail me.

Yeah, I am wanting the Gorilla out of all the brands. The Werner is 5.6lb heavier and harder to use as you pointed out.

I bought the 22 ft little giant that is on sale from lowes for $159, and have not opened it in case this one goes on sale for a good price.
That Little Giant Leveler from Lowe's has leg levelers, exclusive to Lowe's stores in the 18' and 22'. I was trying to decide between the 18' version with levelers at Lowe's on sale for $130 or this one from HD for $90. Anyone have feedback on the usefulness of the leveler legs?

the leveler feet are absolutely amazing though. i wouldn't trade them for anything the Gorilla has to offer. i have one from last years deal, absolutely love the levelers. i do a lot of outdoors work with it, uneven ground stabilization is a dream... no more grabbing 2x4s and plywood!!!
How much was Little Giant Leveler you bought last year? 18 or 22?

I do this but it rests really awkwardly on my shoulder. That said, it is probably the best way to move it if you don't have the wheels.

So wait?
Wheeled version does go on sale at this price though so if you don't need it during the fall, might as well wait for the spring sale. Apparently there's a wheel kit now though so if you need it now and don't mind buying the extra kit, go for it. It's a good ladder either way, I'm just annoyed that I paid for the one without a wheel kit considering I use it on concrete around my house all the time.

Levelers are great if you are in areas where you might not have level ground. For me I will always use my ladders on flat concrete ground so it doesnt matter. Think about if you ever had to use fillers like 2x4s etc. to balance a ladder? Those would be situations where you would enjoy the benefits of a leveler ladder.

Thanks. I don't have any concrete. Rural area that's all gravel and lumpy bumpy. I did order this HD one while I decide on the one from Lowe's. 1 hr 10 minutes and I got my ready for pickup email. One of few benefits of living in a remote area. Smilie
