If you are deciding between the two and you are a big guy, go with the 375lb model if you have both options available. The difference in the ladders weight is 4lbs and the base of the 375lb model is a wee bit wider for extra support. Just something to think about if you are deciding between the two. Oh oh...I almost forgot another reason to get the 375lb. That one is an all year round model and I predict will be around for many years to come. That helps if you would ever need to switch out for warranty purposes. The 300lb model seems to be a special item for the holidays.

Interesting to me how they market these folding ladders with their "reach" instead of the actual height like most A-frame ladders would be advertised. The "18 ft" ladder is actually only 14' 10", and they get the 18ft from how high the average person should be able to reach. Even though they title it with reach and not height, it still seems a little shady to me.

The Werner is $119 right now if you are willing to pay a bit more but I really like the Gorilla 1/4 turn knobs on the side the best. The Werner is painful when it comes to using the metal knobs. I have used that one before and I got a chance to use the Gorilla and the Gorilla by far is the easiest on my fingers.

I was hoping for a deal on the 22ft version. Looks like they only discounted the 18ft version.

Same price as a Little Giant ladder at 17.5 feet that Lowes has in their Black Friday flyer.

Thanks, just grabbed the 375lb model for the new house...seemed like a killer deal without having to deal with BF, especially over the 300lb model

That is true. I prefer the Gorilla version since the 375lb 1AA certified model is the same weight as the little giant 300lb 1A certified model. The Gorilla 300lb 1A is 4lbs lighter than the comparable little giant model.

Yeah, I am wanting the Gorilla out of all the brands. The Werner is 5.6lb heavier and harder to use as you pointed out.

I bought the 22 ft little giant that is on sale from lowes for $159, and have not opened it in case this one goes on sale for a good price.

Set off my alert and had my eye on this since last year when I missed a similar deal. Got the last one at the store by me.

The 375 lb one. I looked a bit more into it and it looks like between the time of adding it to my cart and checkout they probably sold out in my area and therefore aren't offering local delivery.
