I was at BestBuy yesterday and saw this Samsung monitor. This is a great price for a 4K monitor.

I ended up taking an open box item for $178.99 and it was a like new.

It's fine for adults using it for office/dev work. You can pay 3x for a gaming monitor if you want - it's obviously not the target audience here.

I'm a gamer with a nice rig, and I dont mind TN at all. Yeah, there are better panels, but at this price point- I absolutley dont care at all. A 4K IPS 1ms monitor is going to cost more than my graphics card.

how many times do I have to remind you about this? Calm down. Not everyone is a gamer.

I only had it for 1/2 day, but yes very eye-pleasing. with 4k resolution, you can have lots of lines of code if you like small fonts. I thought it was a no brainer at this price. Many lower resolution monitors are on the front page.

32" same price but uses PWM for dimming.

rtings review does not make the 32" look appealing.

Also, is this 28" one TN? that sounds like a terrible idea for a 4k display.

EU590 - RTINGS [rtings.com]- SAMSUNG SITE [samsung.com]- TN PANEL

edit: The rtings review for both the 32 UJ59 [rtings.com] / U32J590 is better than the 28" EU590, (VA vs TN).

Very good 4k monitor. It has AMD free sync . Only drawback is it's not height adjustable . However, it has the regular vesa mount.
