Which one are you returning?
I returned the E55, which is supposedly the better of the two. They just didn't sound great compared to some of the smaller earbuds I have (which seemed ridiculous, but it's true).

I think I prefer the Tribit Xfree Tune, currently $25.99 at Amazon (BF deal of the day, usually $39.99)

https://smile.amazon.com/Tribit-X...MGW&sr=1-5

Very good reviews (CNet has a very in depth one), 40 hrs playtime vs 11, over ear, includes option to use them wired as well. I have no personal experience with either set (though I am ordering the Tribit), but these are definitely an alternative worth considering.

please let us know about the tribit. i missed the BF deal, but with the reviews even $40 sounds like a great price. good find

I got it today actually. First impressions are positive. Build quality seems solid if not premium. Subjective, but I think they look good, and I like the way they look on me. Which is good because they're definitely light and comfortable enough to wear them out wherever. They won't fall off in any kind of normal activity, but I wouldn't recommend for exercise.

The ear cups are a bit smaller than they looked but I have pretty big ears. They still fit well though and they block outside audio very well, so maybe that's the idea. After about an hour of music listening, I find that I want to take them off for a moment and adjust. But I've been finding reasons to wear them all day, so I must like how they feel lol.

No issues with Bluetooth pairing (but no easy way to switch between multiple devices AFAIK). On-ear controls are simple but functional. I wouldn't call myself an audiophile (I buy $25 headphones after all lol) but I have decent ears and I'm enjoying the sound. I both noticed some new subtleties in the music on Lana del Rey's newest album and also was impressed with the bass level on YBN Cordae's RNP.

Obv no thoughts on battery life or durability yet, but based on other reviews I'm not anticipating too much trouble there. They were a steal at $25 and prob at $40 too.

Thanks for the details. I impulse bought the JBLs in this topic but thinking of returning without opening them because I prefer over ear and don't like the battery life or driver size.

Actual feedback. The actual shipping from the Ebay Harmon store took about 5 days ..I was getting worried.

I've used it for 3 street runs and 2 gym sessions and really, it's a 5/5 review considering the price. I've always used my cheap Samsung headphones that came with my Note 9 so this is a huge upgrade.

I have elf ears (srs!) but the ear muffs cover it nicely. Very solid fit even for running. Bass is more than decent. I listen to old school Rock (Queen, Oasis, etc) and I can hear the fine bass more so.

Battery life is as advertised....I haven't charged mine since day one so I reckon about 5 hrs in bluetooth usage so far and going strong.

I'm actually gonna order another pair as a backup.
