Bed Bath & Beyond [https://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/...yout=true] currently has a huge sale on Neato Botvac D7 Connected Robot Vacuum. The standard 20% off coupon Bed Bath & Beyond sends out in the mail will also apply this. Orders over $39 ship free.
If you are having issues obtaining a 20% coupon, try opening a new browser window in incognito mode. If you are a first time email subscriber, you can put your email in to obtain a coupon.
Reviews seem to indicate that it's a pretty dumb vacuum (rarely making it back to base, ect) and though the software might be improved in the future, that aspect I don't think shows on his controlled single room tests. Also there is the question of whether or not he is biased given that he does paid consulting work for Shark.

For what it's worth: We use a BotVac d3 exclusively upstairs on carpet and a roborock s5 downstairs on the hard food floors. The BotVac does great on carpet but we found that it's so-so on the wood floors. The roborock does better with the edges in our kitchen. The mopping feature on the S5 is useless, pretty much dragging a wet cloth around. This is a great deal... unless you can score a lower level model for $200 and upgrade the battery yourself. Our BotVac d3 doesn't have the side brush but found that it's not important on carpet.
How does this compare to the Roborock S5 besides the mopping feature.
Same question. I've been hovering over the 'buy' button on the S5 but haven't pulled the trigger yet. I hear good things about the suction power of the Neato and the OG Neato was my first robo vac back when it was the only alternative to roomba so I have a soft spot for it...
It looks like this one maps up to 3 floors and a much bigger dust bin for my dogs hair so maybe that will be the deciding factor.
Holy Moly - I got this the first time it was available for public sale in March 2018 @ BB&B.
Even with the 20% off then, I thought it was expensive @ $650 OTD esp. since it was my first bot vac.
Now almost 2 years later this thing is almost 50% off & a great price! Wish i needed another one cause it's been excellent replacing a human cleaning person!
We vac our hardwood & area rugs 1x a week dont have to ever do a deep cleaning anymore.

I have the Neato D5 and previously owned the Roborock. The cleaning performance of the Neato is much better in my opinion. The software tricks on the Roborock are better than the Neato, but at the end of the day I'm using it to clean.

Both vacuums tied for 'best' in their big test.
