Got it last time. Setup was easy and it has been working great. Maxes out my intent speed all over my house. I set up all the nodes in one room then moved them one everything was complete.

Will this be any cheaper come BF? I haven't checked the ads tbh. I can buy now and return later, but I'd rather avoid that whole holiday shopping/returning madness lol

Bought a set. Very excited to try these out. Do I need to put my isp modem/router in bridge mode, or do I just turn off the wifi ssid broadcast?

What is max wireless speed your are getting close to main unit and at nodes? I have 600 Mbps. Planning to increase to 1GB. Is this best choice at this price?

They are both pretty equal, Orbis get highest marks on a lot of websites but there are a few that give the Velop instead of the Orbis. In general this is a top 3 mesh system for sure.

Gotcha. Its been 5 weeks my Orbi is rock solid and I love 4 ethernet ports on the satellite units which I am using for backhaul

I've been wondering the same too. I saw the Nokia beacon 3 deal yesterday it has good specs on paper but wondering how Nokia going to issue firmware updates.

I been following and waiting on more credible sites to review the beacon 3's but besides tweaktown I have not seen to many. Looking at their review they get around 600 Mbps at their best for throughput a little over 700Mbps with backhaul. On paper their specs are very up there.

I only have 130mbps... That's the max my modem puts out. That is my next upgrade. I'm sure you should get max speed with it.
