Columbia has Delta Ridge Down Hooded Jacket (various colors) for $80 -> Now $64 with promo code SLICKCOLDEAL. Shipping is free for Greater Rewards Members [free to join]. Thanks TattyBear
I swear by the Omni Heat feature. That really does conserve the heat. I'm at 2 degrees Celsius with only a long-sleeve polo and this jacket not feeling cold.

The fill number is a rating of how effective the down is, but doesn't tell you how much down is in the jacket. 850 fill down insulates better than 650 fill down. A 650 fill jacket can be just as warm as an 850 fill jacket, but it would have more down in it to achieve that warmth.
TLDR; Higher fill rating down can give the same warmth with less weight.

The ducks were killed for meat. Down is a byproduct.

$25 lower than lowest on Amazon per CCC.
It's a good price for a midgrade 650 fill but I wish they'd include the weight. Chances are this is good with a t-shirt under to about 45-55 depending on your tolerance for cold.
This type of jacket is a godsend for travel, but I'm keeping my eye out for something with 850 or 950 fill

How does this compare to the recent Mountain Hardwear deal? I believe the price was about the same as this one.
Columbia and Mountain Hardwear are owned by the same company, and both seem to have a promocode associated with Slickdeals. Thus I don't know how slick of a deal this really is. It may be a good price, but likely not "slick"

Eddie Bauer has a 800 fill and I believe they're 50% off
