Picking this up for my dad, Glad to know the They have the white dial as well, he's been having issues with his eyes recently and i not sure if the the black dial would have been optimal.

Solid looking watch -- the color scheme reminds me a little of the James Bond Aqua Terra watches by Omega.

This movement has the 80 hour power reserve, so I am assuming it is 21.8k bph and not 28.8k -- so no smooth second hand action.

Not bad. Sapphire crystal and ceramic bezel. 42mm case size will fit most adult males

This watch is great looking.
I was eyeing it for a long time.

Just a heads up on the new "not so favorite" Tissot Powermatic 80 Movement.
Some parts are made out of Synthetic material which will play a role when servicing the watch (replacement rather than servicing) which will be quite expensive.

If you not plan to keep the watch for forever than you should be fine.
You will find a lot on google about this e.g.: https://www.google.de/amp/s/forum...ml%3famp=1

The older version of the PRS516 uses the ETA 2824 I believe which is more robust.

Nice looking watch with a good movement if it's the ETA 2824. Shame it's not such a big discount.
