These are what I purchased yesterday.
Dobyns Xtasy 755c for $400
Dobyns Extreme HP 702c for $240
Dobyns Champion XP Glass 705cb for $150
You can get a Dobyns Sierra for about $125 or a Dobyns Fury for about $85.
I also got some good deals on some other fishing stuff.
St. Croix Panfish Series for 20% off at Fish USA.
(20% off no longer available, but should be another sell soon for BF)
https://www.fishusa.com/St.-Croix...inning-Rod
Lew's TP-1 Speed Stick for $65 after sale price + 20% off.
https://www.dickssportinggoods.co...ftp1ss7rod
13 Fishing Defy Black Crankbait Rod for $50 after 20% off.
https://www.dickssportinggoods.co...ft3crnkrod
Lew's Tournament MB LFS Speed Spool Baitcasting Reel for $80 after sale price + 20% off.
(Looks like they don't have anymore of these, but have the LFS for $99 with $20 off if you spend over $100. They also have their BF sale coming up, and usually have a 20% off sale once a week)
I also got a Dobyns Champion XP spinning rod for $150 at Dicks, but they are gone and a Fenwick HMX for $35 at Amazon, no longer available, but you never know, they might come back in stock.
UPDATE: American Legacy also has the Shimano SLX and Shimano SLX XT combos on sale for $129 and $149. I have both of them and I would pay an extra $20 for the SLX XT reel, it has external and internal brakes.

If you like Dobyns, Gary Dobyns told me that a entirely new Dobyns Series is coming out in the next couple of weeks that include a 7 ft panfish rod. This was a week ago, so it should be coming out in a week or so. Dobyns did just release their first panfish rod back in August 2019, but it was 6ft and in the Colt Series. I asked Gary if it was just going to be a Panfish rod added to another Dobyns series or a new series entirely, and I was told it was a new series entirely.
The only other rod that may even be better than the Xtasy is the Shimano G Loomis Conquest with the MBR action. The Xtasy is more of a jig & worm rod, but the Conquest can do it all. The only bad things about the Conquest is that it's $650 and it looks exactly like a NRX.
You absolutely don't have to have high priced fishing gear. I record all of my fish catches and upload them to youtube, and this season I caught over 400 fish on a 6'0 Ugly Stik Gx2 2 piece that I got from Walmart for $9 on clearance, paired with a Abu Garcia Black Max baitcaster for $35 from Walmart. They are great rods for moving baits, but I was still noobish and used it for a lot of plastic worm fishing this season and it did surprisingly great, I only gut hooked less than 2% of the fish caught.
These more expensive rods aren't going to make you a better fisherman, but they will make it more enjoyable and more fun even when you aren't catching fish. And, they will last you a lot longer also. And, with some of these prices, you could buy an Xtasy for $400 and use it for a year or two and sell it for close to what you paid for it.

I am in no way a sixgill fan boy, I buy all types of fishing gear and brands, I'm not loyal to anyone brand. I'm not forcing anything on anybody, but give them a check out on FB.
I see it isn't the sporting good store. But it is still a great deal. These are some of the best rods made. The thing that really sets them apart from the rest is their price. Your going to get a much better bang for your book by going with Dobyns.

The biggest risk you take here is you can't do the hand test. I used a split st croix mojo a few years back. Pulled in a good 100 bass the same day but most were under 2 lbs. The issue was my hand started to hurt. But I kept going trying to ignore it. That was my mistake. I had to return the rod. Upgraded to the legend and all was good. But that price. Then I found Dobyns. With them I could get a good rod for less than 300. Couldn't be happier with them.
If you have any questions you can call and speak with them yourself. If you don't like the rod you can return it.
Love these fishing deals.
