Good deal! Scored one. All you need are a sata ssd and one 16gb ddr4 ram to upgrade the system.

I got this the last time it went on sale for this price. It's a nice computer and the back comes off very easily. The only things that I have a slight problem with is that the speakers fire from the sides and I think its kind of weird. Maybe I just need to get used to it. The fans also get really loud and drown out the sound sometimes. Lots of bloatware that is hard to get rid of also.

No TB3 and the brightness is low (<300 nits) for a 17" panel. Decent specs otherwise.

It's an amazing laptop, I had to add another 16 gb stick to get dual channel performance, though.

Only gaming laptop was the Lenovo Y545.

I don't remember seeing this Asus on their website.
I saw these MSI on Costco website.

It was up until sold out, then they took it down
