It's the same price at BBB with 20% off coupon and then you can buy a $100 digital e-gift card for $90 from PayPal Digital Gifts [paypal.com] to increase the savings.

Pay for the e-gift card using a Chase Freedom Visa and and get an additional 5% cash back if you haven't yet maxed out this quarter

Awesome grinder for $63.99. Very quiet and consistent grinds without the big static problem of other grinders. Picked this up on the weekend, from the BBB deal at the same price.

For those asking about the Baratza vs the Oxo, the Subreddit /r/coffee swears by the Baratza Encore.

Both are conical burr grinders, but folks there say the Encore gives you a more accurate, consistent grind no matter the setting. It's also supposed to be more reliable than the Oxo. General consensus is that both are way better than the Cuisinart (pure garbage).

That said, /r/coffee are coffee snobs. Many there press and manually brew their own coffee, which is why precision is a top priority for them.

I'm not a snob but certainly enjoy a good cup of coffee. I ended up buying the Baratza Encore even though it was more expensive than the Oxo. It's served me well for 3 months of ownership so far and you can totally tell the difference in taste when you grind at different settings.

Couldn't this completely vague statement be made about any item? What are you trying to point out?

It's definitely a great grinder and a great price. I purchased full price about 6 months ago and love using it so far.

I've had this grinder for a few years now. I had a warranty replacement about a year in due to burning smell, but have had no issues with the replacement. Support was great—they just sent me a new one, no questions asked.

Had it for a year. Best budget Burr Grinder. Fresh ground coffee is a game changer. I lost 10 pounds when i got this as I was just drinking coffee all day. Very consistent grinds, no complaints there. A vast improvement on the sloppy Cuisinart Supreme Grind Automatic Burr Mill cheapo one I had (is garbage, really bad consistency, and particles everywhere) . This is very easy to take apart grinder to clean.

Only problem with this is finer espresso grinds get stuck and you have to tap it to make them fall down. I only grind one or two tablespoons every time for fine ground espresso, larger batches wouldn't make so much of a noticeable difference. Not as bad with medium coffee grounds. Seems to be a common complaint with all non super high end grinders.

No complaints for the price and would get another without hesitation.

Thank you! I think you just convinced me to buy! I have a Cuisinart right now and although it has done a decent job, I'd like something a little better

How does this compare to the Baratza Encore? I have the encore and it's so loud in the morning

Fantastic grinder at a great price! At the regular price point of $100, I don't think there is a grinder that is comparable.

burr grinders are loud intrinsically you can't get around that.
