Excellent deal.
I just paid $599 at Adorama. Received the camera yesterday.
BTW, shutter count is 1685.

Wow that's a pretty good count, average about several portrait sessions in my experience so still very new.

Nikon D7500 20.9MP DSLR Camera Body (Refurbished) [google.com] $566.10 using coupon 19PREBF10
Buydig has the same camera on Ebay for $610 shipped so could have got it with 10% Bucks a few days ago, but I'm waiting to see what deals show up tomorrow.

We've had a Rebel for a number of years now.
Would this be a worthwhile upgrade? Which lens is best for standard family photography. Thanks

Yes but it depends which Rebel. In general this camera is still better because not only does it do 4K but Nikon is typically better for photos whereas Canon is better for video. That said, the cost is going to be on the extra lenses you will have or want to... buy. If you have a good amount of Canon lenses, I would suggest sticking to Canon. EF (usually with red ring) lenses are EF-S compatible, not the other way around. This still is a crop sensor though. If you want a full frame, the D750 (refurb) is not too much away.

No complaints from me, my refurbed 7500 is performing well. In case anyone is upgrading for the 4k video - the 4k is cropped, so keep that in mind.

Correct. Description says body, click the link and the title says body only. This retails for 800 new, that's almost 30% off. Sweet deal if you dont mind a refurb.

Yeah i dunno if I can recommend DSLRs anymore.. If youre on the Nikon system, great. But if youre looking to start a new system mirrorless is the way to go. Remember its not just the body nor the lens, but both (system).

If you dont edit your raw pics then i suggest to save your money and get a cellphone with good camera. Because if you only shoot jpeg and uploads to facebook and instagram then youre just wasting money on gears that does is not used to its full potential

Are we talking manufacturer refurbish or 3rd party?

For those that are able to purchase from Adoroma tax free, I would take my chances on a Nikon refurb from them at $599 over this BuyDig deal all day.

Just my two cents, to each their own, just personal preference based solely on my own personal experience.
