For Black Friday Verizon is having a deal on the iPhone 11s. Purchase an iPhone 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max on a new line on an unlimited plan with port-in and receive $400 prepaid Mastercard. Also, trade-in a qualifying older phone (iPhone 7 and newer, Google Pixel 2 and newer, Samsung Galaxy S8 and newer) and receive $400 back in monthly credits ($16.67 x 24 months). There are also lower tiers of monthly credits ($300, $200) for older phones traded in. Plus sales tax on retail price and activation fee ($40 if purchased in store, $20 if purchased online or using in store pickup).

I was in the market for a new phone but didn't need two (they've had BOGOs for a while now). I plan on porting my Google Voice number (cost $3 to unlock GV number and receive account number) to meet those qualifications. iPhone 11 64gb: $700 + tax + act fee - $400 MC - $400 BC = ~$0

$400 Mastercard takes 6-8 weeks to receive from online submission date. Bill credits start within 1-2 bill cycles.

FOR MILITARY/VET CUSTOMERS, THIS PROMO ALSO STACKS WITH ONE YEAR FREE AMAZON PRIME DEAL LISTED HERE: https://slickdeals.net/f/13478128-one-year-of-amazon-prime-for-verizon-military-customers-when-adding-a-new-smartphone-line-on-device-payment

They bill like a utility, so yes your first bill will be for a longer duration of time, somewhere between 30 and 59 days of service.
Here is what they are charging me

Order date: Nov 29th - switched 4 lines in the same order from AT&T
Bill 1: $265 but only shows 2 lines (@ $70 per line) and billing period Nov 2nd - Dec 1st
Bill 2: $420 for 4 lines (@45 per line) plus being charged extra $124 on 2 lines ($62 each) in one time charges of which $20 is activation + another $42 (no idea what) and billing period is Dec 2nd - Jan 1st

So basically $700 for service til Jan 1st when I ordered on Nov 29th. One month and 2 days worth of service. Also not to mention I didn't receive the phones until Dec 2nd

So far have spent 2hrs trying to get an explanation with no luck...

I switched 4 lines as well but only go with Unlimited starter (35/line). I only buy 1 Iphone 11 with trade in, the other 3 BYOD.
So my first bill $193, 2nd bill estimate 170.
Waiting for 400 gift card (and 16.67 credit every month) + 250x3 gift card (BYOD)

Not bad

Yeah that doesn't make a lot of sense. Are you sure the second one isn't an updated version and the total owed isn't $420? Does it say $700 owed in the app when you sign in?

Same boat, it says 11/29 -12/1 in bill but if you look at the pdf version, it shows a service date of 12/2 - 1/1 for me in the line specific line item detail pages

Not yet.

Right now owed $265 but bill details only show 2 lines at 70 each plus activation and device charges

Next bill: $420 with all 4 lines + 2 activation

Then a third bill for $327 (which is the correct amount at 45 per line X 4 + device charges)

I know you processed everything together, but did all four ports complete around the same time? Only thing I can think of is two ports completed first, so it processed an account with those two, then the two other ports took longer (a couple days it sounds like) so those got added on when the ports completed, then it billed accordingly. Not at all your fault but it sure does make for a confusing billing scenario. Maybe explain this to customer service and you'd like to be credited so that the plan pricing and bill amount reflects as if all four lines came through together (which was the original intention).

Let me know how it comes out. Thanks

Edit: The store refused to take the trade in. Never mind use the different phone to trade in
So this experience has been a pain in my arse and frankly if the deal wasn't as good as it was, I gave strong consideration to taking all devices back and closing my Verizon account. I talked to multiple reps, they said take the phone to the store for trade in. After talking to the trade-in 800# rep, who also told me I should go to a store to give them the different device, I hopped in the car and drove to the Verizon store as told. When I got there, they told me they couldn't take a trade-in regardless of if it was the same phone or not if the company had sent me the trade-in box. They saw all of the notes on the account and agreed that the S4 was the device to trade in but couldn't take it in store. So I leave, chat with another rep through the app who this time says the store is right (mind you this Is about the 5th or 6th rep I've chatted with through the app, online, or 800# and all but one of the others said go to the store to give the device, the other didn't say anything until this one). So I go home and then there is a little accident and the S4 screen breaks. $200 fix is what multiple places quote me (rip). So I am just angry with the company for misleading and lying to me. I'm out the S4 trade-in and have to send in the iPhone 7 that I wanted to give to my youngest as a wifi device. What I'm concerned with now is that the time-lapse between when they get devices and give credits and the port in gift cards, seems like they have you locked in to (more or less) a contract and you're farked if they don't honor their end. I don't like it but will raise as much hell as possible if I don't get all of the credits I should. I've got all of the transcripts from the reps and too many notes on my account.I feel like I'm dealing with Metro or some nonsense.

Update: I called a different store and the rep said they would take the trade in. I gave them a iphone 6s instead the original iphone 8 plus when i did in online. They took the trade in 6s for $33 gift card in but the manager said she couldn't do it now but told me don't use the gift card will call me back later. Never call me. So i chat with 3 Verizon online rep. They all told me they made some notes on the acc and ask me to wait. Now i'm just waiting.

Does anyone know if switching from Verizon Prepaid to regular Verizon counts as being a new customer? What about Verizon MVNOs? I was wondering if it is possible to do new customer deals like this every couple years by "leaving" and coming back.

I am looking for a s10e deal from verizon. I see $300 on s10e Red on Verizon site. Plus $200 for port in? I am not sure if port in offer applies only for two phones or one.
Any suggestions/ideas? Is this a good deal or we can wait for a better deal?

any one got email from verizon trad-in?

"Here's what your trade-in is worth.
We've received and inspected your device. The actual value of your device is different from the estimate due to the adjustment reasons listed below"

And the difference is only career, IEMI and everything is same.

I've received emails for two of my devices saying they matched. One line already has the credit applied.

See one issue I ran into with EVERY SINGLE REP was they kept saying that the max trade-in value would only be $300, then I would tell them that the promotion was $400 and they would look and say "Wow, you're right. That's a lot" It got really frustrating when not a single one of them knew the promotion (and yes, I know it was online only but my order receipt says it, I'd think they would be looking at something that said it too).
