Is this card good when comparing to 2070 supper 8G for Davinci Resolve? I barely play game. Will 16G help with GPU memory is full error?

Radeon Vii is just a hair above 2070 super, almost neck-to-neck on most benchmarks out there for most part, but when it comes to raw compute, the VII does edge out, by a good measure, above 2070 super/ 2080 tier.

Doesn't the 5700 xt trade blows with this card in gaming? I'm basing my information off of YouTube benchmarks so who knows how acurate the numbers truly are

I guess with 16GB of HBM2 memory this card has other uses besides gaming

I'm sad because I thought this card traded blows with a 2080 or better.

Toms Hardware has their ratings of the Radeon VII a bit lower than the 2070 Super but at those numbers we are really just splitting hairs. https://www.tomshardware.com/revi...,4388.html For $425 or less, one can get an RX 5700 XT. Of course, no Ray Tracing but that is not important to me. Otherwise, if it is the 2070 Super looks good.

Owning both, that's a lie. The 5700 XT is choppier if there is a difference. It doesn't beat the VII in anything I've played, other than price. Had to turn down a lot of settings in the Division 2 to get it to not drop too many frames. VII had no issues. If I could get another Anniversary edition VII, I would. That red colorway and the performance is very nice.

And that's why I come here to ask a more reliable community than YouTube. But mostly when I asked if it traded blows I meant to be within 2-3% percent in some instances because if it can relatively hang with the VII and I only game it probably wouldn't be worth $150 more than the XT in my use case
