Be aware that Target.com is not always apply the special RedCard prices for their "Black Friday Early Access" deals

After seeing items on SlickDeals for Target RedCard holders, I went online and bought two Oster DuraCeramic 6 Cup Rice Cooker - Black CKSTRC61K-TECO from Target.com using my RedCard, normally priced at $19.99, and the Early Access with Redcard price should be" $10 RedCard price before every day 5%." After checkout with my RedCard, I was charged full price for both items. I also used a $10 gift card at checkout, which turns out to be a whole other issue with Target.com right now.

2 x $10 = $20, then take off my gift card of $10 totaling $10 before the 5%,
instead I was charged $39.38 - $10 gift, making the total on my charge $29.38 before 5% off and tax.

I called Target.com and spoke with an agent that repeatedly told me they are $19.99, and it became obvious to me he didn't know about any sales going on...even though the RedCard price is listed on the items page as "$10 RedCard price before every day 5%". After 25 minutes of arguing, he hung up on me. I called back, and the second agent couldn't do the math of the two items at $10 for each time and then applying my $10 gift card. This was another 15 minutes of arguing.so I asked to speak with the manager.

When a "supervisor" came on the call, she told me this was becoming a repeated issue for Early Access deals.. She said the previous agent did adjust the price for the items, but he failed to apply my gift card to the total. The "supervisor" said that the gift card should be applied when the charges hit my bank account as it won't show on the total yet. WHAT?!?!

I got a case number and was told to call back if I'm charged wrong when it hits my bank.

WTG Target!!

It's always an issue with Target gift cards, even in the store if you pay with your RedCard. If it's an issue, then TARGET needs to fix it.

Check the invoice under the order details after the order is delivered. All the adjustments should be there.
