Anyone vouch for this. I am looking for a decent budget 4k projector. Any recommendations?

Bought this last BF for 1199 after doing a lot of research. This is a great projector. Good price.

Beware that only 1 of the 2 HDMI ports support 4K.

Fan noise is hardly an issue for me. Don't even notice it when watching movies or playing games on it. But also I have nothing else to compare against.

How is this compared to the epson home cinema 3800 for a multi-purpose room? Was looking at the epson, since it has higher lumens.

It's not a true 4k projector, it supports 4k input.

This is a great projector, it uses pixel shifting to achieve 4K standards but it's amazing. Fan noise is minimal. HDR is solid. At this price, this is a steal. I was even able to get the 3D to work (this a pc 3D projector)
