This is probably one of the most age balanced games out there. A 4 year old can legitimately beat an adult at this. We have all the Spot It! games and FWIW, my kids like the animal one the best.

I agree, the quick reactions of the young can overcome the intelligence of the older.

I have one kid who is in gifted at age 10 (top 2% in her District) and my second kid has a problem with her working memory and at 8 cant figure out the days of the week, and can barely read four letter words. The 8 year old competes just fine, winning almost as much as she loses, and my four year old holds her own and loves the game, occasionally winning herself too.

Party size doesn't matter. The more the merrier. Its not going to keep an adult engaged for more than a few rounds, but it is a good party game - especially for groups of all ages and intellects. (Rare to find a game like this)

We brought it to our Thanksgiving gathering and played with family just last night. Everyone had fun!

Never heard of it, but just ordered it for store pick up today. The family will play it tonight, hopefully it's fun.
