I have both they playbar and beam. The playbar sounds much better than the beam. Sound is more fuller than the beam.

i currently use the beam + 2x One as surround, and i also have 2x Polk Audio PSW505 subwoofers that i use on my old 5.1 setup in the same living room. now i'm thinking if i should get the Amp and connect my old subwoofer(s) or get the Sonos sub instead?

Nice, no tax and $25 or even better 2,500 membership reward points is great. Beats the other BF deals.

The Beam is a terrible product. Loses strong WiFi constantly. Sonos admits it's a weak WiFi radio.
I have not had that experience with my Sonos beam. All of the Sonos products have 2.4ghz radio and that means have better reach than any 5ghz clients.

Unfortunate. I have 2 beams, 2 ones, and the sub and I have absolutely no problems with dropped connections.

I'm thinking in getting both and try by myself, both are discounted, the Beam + Sub is $680 vs $480 for the AMP and use your own speakers. I think you'll get more quality with a nice pair of speakers that the Beam, but in my setup that I can't put the speakers so much apart a sound-bar will work better. The Sub is awesome and the dual facing spekers that cancel vibrations is awesome

Great prices. Haven't seen too many sales on Sonos stuff.
I have the Beam and don't have issues with WiFi(although its under 20 feet away from an access point)

Want to buy a Beam, especially with no tax and $25 offer, but pretty satisfied with my cheap $40 Insignia soundbar. Must resist.

Looks like Best Buy also has the Beam for $320 with a $20 BB gift card for Black Friday. Just another option to explore - https://slickdeals.net/f/13529560-best-buy-black-friday-sonos-beam-soundbar-w-voice-control-20-best-buy-e-gift-card-for-319-99?src=store-bf

I have the Sonos playbar, but I am thinking of returning it and get the beam. Is the playbar worth the money?
