Has been waiting for this projector to drop down the price. I already own this projector which was bought back in April'19 for $1700.

With $1500 price tag, this projector is great deal IMO.

1. Android OS is smooth in this projector
2. Great sound quality
3. Great quality picture
4. Laser based projector

Honestly, i was in the same boat as yours until i bought this projector. The huge advantage of this projector is keeping at distance of 6-12inches, it was able to project 150" screen without any issues. I dont have to deal with all the mess of ceiling mount and running the cables all along my walls/ceiling. Worth considering in my opinion.

I don't think there is any shenanighans. Find me a laser ultra short throw cheaper than 1500.

I don't mind lamps, so I'm eyeing the optoma GT5600. Has anybody have any experience with both?

Find it odd they don't list it so imagine it's average at best. Personally I like the ultra high lumen projectors compared to average.

You get this for the walmart guarantee for what it's worth. At least you get to return if the quality is subpar.

I had this projector for a time to test it out (Walmart 90 day return is a beautiful thing). Setup and interface is simple and easy, I did also get a medium range quality projector screen and it worked out pretty well. I think to get the full quality though you'd need to buy an ALR screen. Otherwise at 1500 this was a solid quality for size turnout.

Not 4K, I would rather wait for the 4K version which is available at Asia.
